Well Maybe they will become playable later on
I for one think there should eventually be a beastial/ogre-like playable race if only for variety.

And for a big target. Some ranged players have a hard time hitting smaller characters like gnomes.

Orc is bestial race as well ... at least I see them so. And gnomes are evil little beasts as well. So ... Death to them all!

What no playable Ogre class!!!! thats..thats....well thats just ... I dont know what to say..no more cute overbite:( they gave a damn good hickey. So how about a half giant race then?

As was stated earlier... There will be 6 playable races initially... Maybe somewhere down the line in development there will open up an opportunity for more...

Ogres didn't feel right with the backstory, Dorlan. We needed certain characteristics (such as complexity and intelligence) in our playable races that are better suited to the stories that we wanted to tell. But stay tuned to future updates, you might be pleasantly surprised at what we're planning.
