Yes, I am alive and well.... not much can knock me off, though in the past 2 years it has been tried twice. Once by a surgery and the second by a crazy woman with a gun. Safe to say... I am still around .

Ok that should kill off the rumor mill of my untimely surmise


We have been working diligently to get something out that we can show. Many screenshots you have seen already. Lokku has been busy trying to get a bugtracker running and the wiki is operational (though at the moment I am not allowing anyone to see more than the fact that it exists). In the future the wiki will be more directed toward community helping community with their own posts etc. of what/where/how.... not big on the spoiler aspect that would create, however I think that keeping it in the wiki and not on the forums is a way to curb those who want to explore on their own or figure things out the hard way a chance not to be barraged by spoilers even inadvertently.

I have picked up a few old (and I mean OLD) servers that will at least let us balance the load a little between shards etc. and will give us a basic opportunity to figure out how to get shards to talk to one another. So though they are ancient and need a lot of work upgrading, the basics are there enough that I feel we can at least get the network setup enough to learn and get them working enough to know HOW to do it.

I will take a moment to say now that ALL systems (forums,IRC, wiki, bugtrack) etc. WILL be going down for an unknown amount of time sometime in the next few days. This is so I can rearrange my physical location of servers, and setup the network. I am not doing this work myself, as I have to be out of town again this evening. I will be moving things into place and then having my brother in Hawaii setting everything up... I figure if he can run communications for the whole Pacific fleet he can set up 15 servers to talk to one another. If not.... well I will fly to Hawaii and throttle him for you all. Some of you actually know him as Oram Gort. Yeah... figures we are related in some crazy way...lol

Anyway that is about as much of an update as I am going to give... I will leave the rest up to Asfajaf, Lor, Azaz and Lokku.
