I've talked to ppl with xfire while in roe and not had any problems... but others might... xfire seems a bit er.. buggy... it thought I was playing everquest when I just had the windows explorer open to D:\EverQuest\ which ended up making my playtime count for it go way up... doesn't seem to happen with roe though... dunno if thats good or bad lol.

Ral, what are you running on? I mean system specs, I think it might be middle to higher end machines can run it, but lower end machines can't. I don't know if the people who it wouldn't work for have a low end machine, or the best out there. I'm just guessing it is.

raletia, did you changed the hotkeys in the options?
and if so, to what did you changed them?
looked like regular keys arent working for me

I use cntrl+q for the ingame chat hotkey

Well, Xfire's ingame chat seems to work for some people and doesn't work for others <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> . It doesn't work for me, but I know 2 people where it works, both of them are on windows 2000 (pro). And people where it doesn't work are on XP (from those I know). So I'm guessing that it works on 2000 but not on XP, or does someone got it to work on XP/can't get it to work on 2000 ? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

2.8Gig Intel Pentium
260 GIG 7200rpm HD X2
256M Geforce 4 video
1 gig of PC3700 DRAMM

WINXP System
2.4 Gig AMD 64Bit Processor
100Gig HD X2
2Gigs of SDRAM
200m Radeon Vid card

So I dont think it is the operating system causing that.. unless it takes more rescources on XP than on 2K to run... But it runs fine on both for me.

might be ram? you seem to have alot of it, ral has more then 512 as well...768 if i remember?
