I am fairly new to the game and I have seen quite a few magic weapons...havoc axe, hobgoblin claws, various spears and daggers, but the only magic one handed sword i have seen is the one dropped by minor imps. Is there a one handed sword that will do comparable damage to a havoc axe? or even close. I would really like to find out if there is one and where it drops. I have spent a long time (not as long as some of you, but almost a week straight) raising my tailoring and weaponsmithing skills (about 310 in each) and would rather not reset my skillpoints. Any info would be appreciated....I love my handmade steel longswords, but i found out the hard way that they just don't work on ghost bears. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/bomb.gif" alt="" />

there is kraaj's blade which is somewhat magical and there is the twohanded hobgoblins blade.

ghostbears are not only one mob n game so if youc an not hit him is not real reason to respec your character imho.

Thanks for the reply...I dual weild though, I'm looking specificly for one handed swords. I might make a single sword user (two handed weapon) in the future, but I'd like to see how far i can progress with my first, call me old fashioned:)

There are at least 3 more magic 1 handed swords... some of the highest level mobs drop them.

you cna make it to lvl 99 without uber magic single handed sword. this game offers far more powe from crafted things than form the loot and wait till enchanting is in, then you will see some things...

im not going to give away any spoilers but there is a lubberly sword with a flaming aura to it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

how could i forget flametongue? well, maybe because i never cared about it but yes, one of my friends has it, but uses praxite longsword most of the time

there's actually a flaming one handed sword that is stronger than the flametongue, but it drains MP STUPID fast, and WILL kill you if you run out of MP.

it also does drain damage.

looks like i should improve my knowledge of the "ph4t lewt" in the game :-)
